I don't know where thr name comes from, must br the Irish potatos
These are great with breakfast
½ cup flour
½ cup instant mashed potato flakes
1 tea spoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
Mix dry ingredients
Add ½ cup of boiling water and mix well
When dough has cooled enough to handle kneed  for a few minutes and shape into rounds about 2 inches in diameter  and a ¼ to 3/8 inch thick (makes 6)
Sauté in a few tablespoons of oil until golden, turning once.
Serve with butter and/or you choice of jam or jelly
Also good in the evening topped with pesto or marinara sauce.

Mix dry ingredients before your cruise and store in a zip lock bags
Enjoy
