We will be starting September with a trip to the San Juan Islands, leaving from Deception Pass with an honored Guest.  John Alland, the son of the founder of Midship Yachts will be joining us for the first three days or so.

This will give him a chance to see how well the boat has held up for 30 years. He worked in the factory and worked in the booth at Boat Shows as well a doing demonstration sails.

We have Hull 270 .  The boat has been sunk once, but actually is pretty much unaltered from the original design.I'd expect that John could educate us on some features as we sail and motor among the lovely islands.
My Grandson and I did a cruise in June, but our July trip got cancelled, so we are more excited about my wife Carrie and I being able to cruise together.  Yes,  there will be at least one of the 10 nights in a good hotel with good showers.
