Herby;

     My wife and I own hull #42 (Feb '73) and have it taken apart awaiting a re-hab.  Our main seems as though it could be original and needs to be replaced, so I would be interested in that.  You say almost new on the main, any ideas as to actual age?  I will also purchase all the ports (there should be 7) as ours have broken edges.  My rudder scabbard I will get repaired here in Maryland where we live as it would be too expensive to ship.  You don't mention a jib...  Does #210 have the single-cable push-pull type of tiller steering?  If it is the same as mine, it might be handy to have a spare.  Ditto the winches.  My wood trim in the fore cabin has pretty much de-laminated and I have to replace that also.  I guess I will have to send my wife down with my pick-up truck as she has more flexibility with getting time off.

     Let me know if you would like to continue this with a personal e-mail, we could exchange phone numbers that way also.

     Regards,

     Brad (Elk River)

Herby,

I may be in the market for a rudder cage.  The aftmost vertical member is split and the points of attachment to the boat are very worn.  I have already asked someone to repair it, so I need to see how it came out.

I would also like to buy a keel locking pin -- I don't have one.

Hi Herby,

Is the keel winch drum available?  This would be just the spiral shaped drum that takes up the cable and is attached to the gearbox.
