I have an extensively out fitted PD.  This is my 3rd offshore trip, 80 miles or more offshore in the N. Atlantic covering 500 knotical miles, and the rudder scarboard has broken again. I had the lower end of it rebuilt and the guy strengthen it nicely.  The vertical tube at the rear of the rudder and the starboard diagonal tube also broke at the top of the scar board.  I limped back into Oregon Inlet, NC yesterday.  This is all due to heavy wx and seas. I was lying ahull for 36 hours in 15-18 foot seas.  This boat is great for that, the bad deal is that rudder scarboard.  Anyway, my cockpit seat hatch and the deck hatch won't close properly now due to hull warpage.  I am dismantling Kimberly Marie and parting it out.  It is a sloop rig.  Main sail is made by Doyal, has 3 reefs and is 2 years old.  135 Airforce 135 genoa on a CDI rollerfurling system is about 5 years old.  All new standing rigging is 2 years old.  Wind power 26Amp wind gen w/ all mounting is 2 years old and I just replace the blades last week.  The list goes on and on.  What you want, I most likely have, right down to new curtains.  Kimberly Marie is wht w/ red trim.  Its a sad time to see my PD go, but all good things come to an end!  The boat will be in Elizabeth City, NC.  Email me with your wants and needs.  cdkaro@yahoo.com

Chris,

Might be good to post a list of prices on the larger items, along with a few pictures of the boat.

Bob,
I'm getting to that.  There are some pics on this web site of my boat.  That's a start.  Basically, I am selling everything, from the keel to the mast.  Port windows, hatches, o/b 20hp Johnson.  Most of my additions are 2 to 3 years old, so the parts are in good shape.  I will sell everything for 1/2 or less than what I paid.  I know, for instance, the windvane steering system is custom made for the PD.  I paid $3500 plus the blocks and jam cleats to run the controls to the cockpit.  This is the best addition and performs unbelievably. I'll be happy to sell it for $1500 or BO.
I'm taking inventory and will have a list shortly.
Thanks,
Chris

Loving the furler, though have a few kinks from leaving the foil in the box for the winter.  I think they will come out over the summer.

One question.  With the 135 genoa, the sheet leads seem to want to fall right where the winch is.  Did you have this issue, and how did you address it?
