Hello Everyone,
Just wanting to know if any body sails one of these vessels in the greater midwest.  I would like to see one of these boats up close.  I am very interested in buying one, but have yet to actually see one. If any one has one and wouldn't mind showing it off please contact me at tjthome@insightbb.com.
Thanks Tim

You should know that the majority of these boats are Midship 25's, the rest are Dawson 26's and only a handful, less than 15, were made by Capt. Parker....Mine is a 1972 Midship built in Las Vegas, Nev. She sails the Sea Of Cortez out of San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. Around 450 were made, total, 280 of them in Las Vegas 1972-1973...Not many are still sea-worthy..

Hi Tim!

If Northern Ohio is in the "Greater Midwest", I hope to have Slow Ride in the drink sometime in May and you are welcome to visit/sail.

There might be a swing keel Parker Dawson for sale nearby (Western Basin of Lake Erie) as well, I can look into that if you like.

I keep my PD26 in Grand Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan, if that is any help.  LL
