I have looked all over the stern of my boat and cannot find a hull # anywhere??
The hull # mentioned on my title is -- CFZ6654F0073L.  I know the designations of the # are somewhere on this site -- but if someone can decipher it for me I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Hello Mike..

On Midship 25's that I have seen or heard of, the hull number is moulded into the transom, high, sometimes in the blue trim stripe, near the rudder mount. They are about 3/8" high and are not moulded in very deep. They could be easily removed with a sander if someone wanted to do that and the slight depression filled in.

However, (please don't take this as gospel) boat manufacturers were NOT required to give there products ID numbers until 1972. I remember reading somewhere that a few Midships were built, the first boats built by "Trail Yacht Corporation", had no serial numbers! Yours could be one of those.. The CFZ66 prefix on your papers does not match any Midship or Dawson hull numbers I know of. It was probably assigned by the state that first issued a registration for it. In that case, there should be an ID sticker somewhere. You could try researching the state records to see when it was first sold...
