I currently have a ketch rig and I am considering changing it to a sloop rig. Does anyone know if the mast height is the same on both rigs? Other than changing the boom and mainsail are there any other changes I would need to make? I would appreciate any information that you could provide.
Thanks,
Alan

As I recall the mast height on my sloop is 29'.  I will measure it once the boat is out of the water.

Bob,
Thanks for checking on the mast height. I hope I can make an easy transition from a ketch to sloop rig. I'll just have to find someone who is looking for a mizzen mast and sail!

Measured mine yesterday at 25 ft and 5 more inches.  That would sound about right for 29 foot from waterline.  I'll try to measure from waterline to mast base this weekend..

Measured my mast at 25 ft 5 inches base to top of masthead, not including windvane, lights etc.
