Went sailing yesterday on Lake Michigan.  Coming home on a broad reach my GPS hit 8.2 knots on 2 separate occasions.  I was sailing with my working jib and a single reef in the main.  Had the keel cranked almost all the way up.  Wind was probaby 20-25, with small waves as it was an offshore wind.

Very fun!
