Put the rest of the windows back in and put hose on them to see if they leak they all seem good. I need to clean up the stuff around them still but it kinda looks ok the way it is. Also I now just have 5 wires going to the engine compartment Smiley but still need to hook up the rest of the electricity.

I want to put LED lights through out the boat. Any one have any experiance with them?

Also anyone with gas engines can tell me what there fuel capacity is please?

Where do you all have your batteries stored at? and how many?
I plan on around 5 batteries 4 for running stuff and 1 for starting.
I will have a wind generator(600watt) and 2-4 solor pannels(70watt)

I have two 100 amp batteries located in lazarrette.  I have an 18 gal fuel tank and the batteries sit at the end of the tank right behind the battery switch and electrical panel.

Thus far the 2 batteries have done well for us.  I usually leave anchor lights on all night and we run a small color TV/VCR about two hours a night.  The two batteries act as house bank and for engine starting.  I do carry a small jump start battery with a 300w inverter on it but have never had to use it.  Also need to consider that I have run the engine for an hour before I am far enough out the river and into the harbor to raise the sails.

I have been considering adding a third battery for an upcoming ICW trip, but since I figure I will have to a lot of motoring it lower on the priority list at the moment.

I too have considered LED lights.  But more as an accessory to other lighting.  The place I am most interested in placing them is in the cubbies in the cockpit for looking at charts at night.  I am planning on installing flourescent lights in the cabins as well an oil lamp in each cabin.

Well havent done too much lately on the boat really. Been trying to find replacement Regulator and Relay for Vire7 . No one seems to have them Sad Started workin on the trailer for the boat the other day and today just replaced all the springs and started sanding it for a paint job. And to get new lights on it.

Painted the trailer and put new lights on it. rewired the electrical for the starter / generator ever thing seems to be working good so far just waiting for something to dry so I can mount the relay and regulator. It starts becoming a pain thinking about how much more there is to do.

I need to redo all the safty lines and poles etc... and remount alot of the deck hardware since I dont think its strong anof to take another storm.

I hope to be able to get this weekend on the ocean for the 4th of July.
