Yep, that did it.  Thanks a bunch.  I can't do it this year but would love to plan on it for next year.  Sailing from Florida would be awsome!

Oops.  Now I really feel stupid.

Looks like they have a pretty good itinerary planned.  Mostly MacGregors, but a big caravan.  I almost bought a Mac 26X but glad I stumbled upon the Dawson on the web and sought one out.

After I make my ICW trip to Florida this summer, I will be relocating permanently down there.  Let me know if you ever make it down that way and want someone to cross the stream with.

Well the house is finally on the Market and I can begin the upgrades on the boat.  We plan on departing Buzzards Bay for our ICW trip around the 21st of July.

The stove has been replaced with an Origo 4000CB.

Forward Head removed for increased storage and spare holding tank added for the porta potti.

Offset pedestal guard has been purchased from Edson.  Should be install over the weekend.

Garmin 182C ordered and in.  Will be install after the pedestal guard.

Outboard motor mount for transom is on order.

2nd anchor, a Delta 22lb plow with 15 ft chain & 200 ft 1/2 inch rode mounted on bow.  The old standby, Hooker M-1300 with 200 ft rode is now mounted on the stern railing.

150 Genny & new MainSail with StackPack and Laxy Jacks is on order and due in 3 weeks.

Cockpit enclosure will be measured for and begin construction on Monday.

All standing rigging has been removed and is being completely replaced.  (lost a side stay on the last sail of last year).  It is due in 2 weeks.

Oil and filters for the Yanmar have been changed.

New dinghy, 8.8 ft. Achilles with inflatable floor has been ordered.

Inverter, 700W is in and ready for install.

6 inch LCD TV on order and due next week.

Will be replacing all water lines from the water tank and adding a water pump.

Icom M1V handheld VHF added as a backup.

Next week will be using Poly Glow on the hull and decks and Teak Guard on the Teak.

Currently looking for sound insulation for the motor box.  (An attempt at maintaining sanity for anyone in the aft cabin when motoring)

Giving real hard consideration for the radar mentioned at the beginning of this thread.

This will keep me busy for a few days.  I am sure more will be added to the list.

Sounds exciting...

Wish I was still in Florida.
No rush on the photos.. Just get your boat ready and take it for a run Smiley

Seems everything that can go wrong seems to go wrong when you least would like it too...

Dan, Sounds like your wife went out of town so you loaded up on some super upgrades!  Am very interested in you trip down the ICW. Perhaps I may be retracing your steps, South to North next fall.  Keep us posted on your adventures down the ICW.   LL
