Anyone have a tiller pilot set up on a boat with tiller steering.  Looking at the Raymarine ST2000 or the SPX5.  Would ideally like to mount under aft cabin step, where the cable attaches.  This would free up the cockpit and still be close enough to disengage if needed.

Would love to hear of others experience on this.
