We were out sailing here in Sturgeon Bay over the weekend and ended up chasing after a Hans Christian 40-42.   We were quite surprised by the fact that we were almost able to overtake the Hans Christian on a broad reach with the keel all the way up and the rudder halfway up in 10-12 knots, flying our big genny.

He seemed even more surprised than we were.  We were making a steady 6.2-3 knots on the GPS for extended periods.
