I am nearing the end of my long road of Midship refurbishment.  I have acquired a new electrical panel which will barely fit where the old panel is now -- on the lower port side of the companionway.  That location is close to the battery and the existing wiring, but can get wet under some circumstances.

Anyone have thoughts about a better place to put it?  One likely candidate is in the starboard space under the cockpit seats.

I would leave it where it is.  Even when it rains, my panel never gets wet.  If the water were to reach that level, you probably are going to have bigger problems on your hands.  Smiley

The top drop board can be wedged under the hatch to act as an umbrella.  Combined with the lower board in, this makes a good compromise when it rains.
