I have the battery (s) out of the boat.   The platform upon which they sit isn't in bad shape, but I really wonder what is sloshing around under it.

I'm not very bendable, but would like to remove the platform, clean up under it, then repair and replace with new hold down straps and such.
The platform seems to be held in place with just two screws.  I cannot get close enough to figure out what type of head is on the screw.  A phillips won't engage, and I'm stumped at the moment.  Would like to take correct tool with me this weekend.

The platform is set up for two Groupt 24 batteries.  Has anyone been able to fit two Group 27 batteries ?
