I need help:

I need the dimensions of the rudder or information how to get a new or used rudder for the Parker Dawson 26.

I also need the piece at the top of nav pedestal that holds the compass as well as a compass is good condition.

I'm in the same boat... I need info on how to repair or replace the rudder.

Did you have any luck?

Can anyone come up with an answer to the question - what are the dimensions of the rudder?

I finally have my boat close to home and have the rudder in the back of my Explorer today.  I'll measure and weigh it tonight.  Be aware, that the rudder profile changes in one area.

The hard part in duplicating one, will be to make sure that it fits the scabard ? well.

My rudder has a large number of horizontal cracks in the surface.  I'll be taking a good look at that soon.

My rudder is 73 1/2 tall,  15 1/2 deep, only 15" at very bottom
Top is roughly parallel sides, but bottom is a foil of undefined shape.

Thickness will have to be controlled to fit in the holster.

It has three cross holes for a pin to support the rudder in three positions.
